Q & A:

Q: Can I be hypnotized?

A: Yes! Hypnosis is a relaxation of our "wide awake" conscious state, in order to access cooperation of both the conscious and unconscious parts of our mind. If you feel safe enough to focus mindfully, your strong, unconscious process will automatically assist you in resolution, relief and solutions to problematic or non-resourceful thoughts, feelings, beliefs and behaviors.

Q: Will I remember everything from my hypnosis session?

A: Yes! Your unconscious mind will absorb and utilize any useful suggestions or information. Your conscious mind may become so relaxed during your 20-30 minutes of hypnosis that you feel asleep or may not immediately remember your session, but you can be sure that what your mind seeks, later can easily be recalled.

Q: Am I asleep during hypnosis?

A: It usually takes approximately 30 minutes for one’s mind to reach deep "delta" state, so a process under 30 minutes is most effective. You may feel asleep, but are simply in the "cool down" process resultant of willing relaxation of your conscious mind.

Q: How quickly can I expect results from Hypnotherapy and Hypnosis?

A: In most cases, unless one is purposely unwilling or feels unsafe with their process, you can expect to feel a lot of positive differences right away. Here are a few examples:

1) Sense of relaxed awareness while wide awake - help is on the way!!

2) More restful sleep - your conscious mind may feel less "cluttered" while awake.

3) Inner strength or a feeling of empowerment - YOU are 100% responsible for your success.
